This is a Regular Degree Course which deals with subjects and topics related to Computer Application and Services. Odisha Govt. has accorded recognition for opening BSc. (Hons.) CS from the session 2017-18 and it is affiliated to the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It offers a three years programme on Computer Application and System Operations as the main components of this course. In the final year, students get an opportunity for a project work, which is a combination of concepts and training of software tools and it helps to equip the students to adopt the ever changing technological world. This course primarily intends to serve as a stepping stone towards the higher academic programme in computer science as well as in MSc. MCA or MBA in Information Technology and other courses such as B. Ed.

Eligibility: Any student who has completed Higher Secondary in Science (+2).

Bachelor in Computer Application is a three year regular degree course in computer application. It is permitted and recognized by the Govt. of Odisha and affiliated to the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The programme is rigorous and the students are expected to gain good knowledge in IT solutions and develop strong analytical and computing skills by the time they complete the course. 

ELIGIBILITY: Anybody, who has passed Higher Secondary (+2) or has completed 3years diploma engineering from any recognized Board or equivalent.

BSc ITM Eligibility Criteria : Admission to the B.Sc. ITM program is based on the following criteria:

1. +2 Students who have passed in the Science stream.
2. The aspirant must have passed from a recognized board or council      established by the government of India. Similarly, students who have      passed exams from state government boards and those who have passed      equivalent exams recognised by CBSE and other state boards are also      eligible for the admission.
3. Students in their last year of education are also eligible to      apply, provided they produce a proof of passing the required examination      by the date of admission.

Course Duration: LIT offers a three-year BSc ITM program distributed over six semesters, for those interested in a career in the Information Technology Industry or other related sectors. Exams will be conducted in the month of December and April or May.

Software, databases, and networking are among the topics covered in this program. A BSc degree in ITM is awarded after completion of the program. After completing the course, students can continue with a master's program in the field or join the exciting world of technology and put their acquired skills to build efficient technological systems.

After completing the three-year course by LIT, you will be completely competent in all applications and adaptations in the field of information technology.

MSc. (CS) is a post-graduate course of two years duration. Odisha Government has granted permission to open MSc. (CS) course from the session 2018-19 under the affiliation from Utkal University. A degree in MSc.(CS) can lead you to jobs live computer scientist or an information system manager or networking specialist whose job is to draw the technological roadmap for the organization, ensure efficient management of the available computer facilities, handle smooth functioning of the local area networking and wide areas networking, implement cyber security system designing as well as technical analysis for the organization. The degree also provides scopes for higher education like PhD in computer science application, computer information science as well as M. Tech in computer science. 

ELIGIBILITY: Anybody who has passed BSc. (CS) or BCA degree from any recognized University or equivalent.
